Before coming to work today I updated my forum code to do multiple pages and reverse chronological display. Thus, however crap work is, I will have achieved something before I go home.

Today is icky. Muggy, humid, over-warm; cycling in felt like I was underwater, and as I type this my forearms are sticking to the desk. Didn't sleep too well last night either - brain buzzing with "will I lose my job, are there any new jobs out there for me? It's fairly obvious that all web/DB jobs expect you to use the overpowered commercial tools, so my useful experience - despite what I can create - is effectively zero. The only accepted experience I have is embedded coding, which I don't want to keep doing.

With any luck will get a plumber today; I could really do with the shower being operational again.
