Out of interest (and because I'm doing some research on online communities for work), how many of you have used Second Life or similar sites, or MMORPGS?

Just how "immersive" are these things? Sims-style 3D throughout or avatar / iconographic?

(I'm going to have to go in and investigate some of these, I suspect)
