Argh can my brain PLEASE stop spinning at night occasionally? Sleep is occasionally required...

Thoughts: Trying to get my own flat is a waste of money if I can get a shared place for less. Looked at one in Bermondsey earlier but it didn't really suit. Anyone know of any geeks looking for housemates? Or fancy moving?

Spent NYD and the next day reading up on XP and SCRUM; boss is excited (yes, really) by the latter and it looks like we'll be implementing it (under my control). The real question is whether I can get it to work with a key team member working from home. There will also be various kicks-up-arses about proper use of version control, automated testing, and coding to standards.

Being a manager would probably be that much easier if I wasn't bugfixing all the old systems while I was trying to get work done. Although I now have a G5 at work, which reduces one set of irritations.

Muppet of the day award goes to the workmen who came to remove the Xmas tree by lying it, in its bucket of water, down on the floor.

I think I need to get my eyes rechecked and/or replace my specs, and definitely get to the dentist and hairdresser.

Just eaten an incredibly solid but very good bowl of broth. Really needed the food ;)
