Just spent the evening at the PHP-London meet; 20 geeks, 5 laptops (of which 4 macs) and a pub; no formal demos but lots of tech discussion, showing of code and ideas. People seemed generally interested in the phase codebase (handed out some business cards - may even be some work in there); I gave and received help and info and realised that I really can hold my own as a skilled professional freelancer. Tomorrow evening I'll be at a client "party" with an agency one to follow in a few weeks- Whitby writeup should happen at the weekend.
