Yes, It's Nildram again. They just sent me an "urgent demand for payment" for the period 11/08 to 02/09 on my ADSL account.

I pointed out that they terminated my account (ie, ceased to provide service) at migration on 11/08.

There was a 10-minute on-hold delay.

They claimed that there was a 30-day notice period applying.

I pointed out that the chance of them extracting money from me for a period during which they had provided no service was precisely zero.

They claimed that there was a 30-day notice period applying.

I pointed out that they should have thought of that before they ceased to provide service.

They claimed that there was a 30-day notice period applying.

I pointed out that I had specifically called them on termination to check that no payment was outstanding, and strongly suggested that they check my account notes.

There was a 5-minute on-hold delay.

They came back and told me that the finance manager had decided to terminate the account with no notice period.

I await their next demand for payment.
