As a gift to myself for getting the new job (and having got annoyed at finding large gaps in my toolkit), I rode down to B&Q and splurged somewhat on tools.

Mind you, I think that first handsaw was a bit beyond my budget.




I also need about 2 quid's worth of wood ( ~ 1.7m x 0.3m), but I don't think I'll get that home on my bike...

In other news, Leytonstone Asda/Wal-Mart has just switched over to Chip & Pin today. This is causing chaos because no-one knows their credit card PINs. Since pretty much everywhere is going to switch to this system shortly, this would be a good time to check your PIN or get a new one. (I know I've lost one of mine).
