An old friend visited over the last couple of days, and we spent the time chatting, while walking around town, or just sitting around. It's been a good two years since we last really spoke, and I've changed a lot in that time, changes which seemed to interest her a lot - it's always nice to be able to talk openly with people, and while we didn't have the most active of weekends, it was quite enjoyable.

In the finest tradition of British Railways her intended train was cancelled yesterday, leaving me an extra half-hour to wander around town - unfortunately for my credit card I wandered into HMV, which was selling PS2 games at £15, so my collection has now expanded to:

• Gungriffon Blaze
• Rayman Revolution
• Oni
• Smuggler's Run

Coupling this with my recent DVD acquisitions, I think I now have enough media to make the PS2 useful.

In other news I took my bike into Howes yesterday, and for want of a good colour match it now has a new set of black forks - however the brakes aren't properly set, so I have to work on them now, and remount the dynamo. Still, it'll relieve me of quite so much walking - my legs are starting to protest.

Oh and I've found a bug in IPP's account creation code since moving up to the PHP 4.1.x data-passing system. Must fix.
