62 inches is less than you'd think
Luggage allowance: 2 checked cases up to sum(L,W,D)=62", 1 carry on up to sum(L,W,D)=45"
Since I really don't want to wrestle 2 suitcase round NY public transit that effectively gives me 1 smallish suitcase and a rucksack.
Anyone who's seen me pack for Whitby will find this amusing, but I think I can pack rather lighter this time...
(egads, I'll be in NY in a week...)
Apparently the Fridge is "closed for refurbishment until further notice".
My watch proved a certain source of excitement for a girl on the tube earlier - she kept looking at it and grinning - then when we both got off at the same stop she asked to see it ;)
The Co-op bank, despite having taken a direct debit for my visa card weeks ago has blocked the account as being "in arrears". The muppet in the visa dept then put me though to the payment dept, which was closed, so it cut me off.
Damnit, what time does Dr Who start now?
Ooh look, a plot point
ETA: In more detail: Good acting, yes-ish. Good long-term plot development, yes. Good story? Possibly, hiding under the cheap recurring jokes - and stronger than last week's, definitely. But somehow it just didn't engage me - every time I got drawn into the story Bill(ie?y?) would try and force HRH to say "we are not amused", and it repeatedly broke the flow for me.
Admittedly, I wans't in a very TV mood either, and missed the start thinking it was the same time as last week.
PS: The fact my brain kept going "Do have a picture of Queen Victoria" every time she appeared probably didn't help the dramatic tension much either...
Where's the cheapest place to get foreign currency these days? ;)
